I was commissioned by Next New Networks to design a limited edition poster to commemorate their just announced purchase by YouTube. They will become YouTube Next. Read all about it here.
Apparently, during negotiations the code name for YouTube was Melissa and the one for Next New Networks was the sharks.
Fred Seibert sent me these screenshots from a recent interview with Next New Networks co-founder Tim Shey about the new original, exclusive programming for AOL. The images directly to the left of Tim's head are from a series of poster designs I created for Next New Networks. To view all the full poster images click here.
I just received printed samples of the Barely Digital and Hungry Nation posters. I am very pleased with the results. Thank you Next New Networks!
Basic logo design for Next New Networks' forthcoming Hungry Nation show. Final typography and colors to be determined.
Latest poster for NextNewNetworks. Fifth in a series of 12. This one for Indy Mogul, the internet network for for DYI filmakers and moviegoers.
The second from a series of 12 limited edition posters I am creating for Next New Networks has just been mailed out. This one features the names of each of the Next New Networks inked on top of their N-Bot logo/character. As mentioned earlier on this blog, these posters will be mailed out one per month for a year. The first poster for Barely Political was sent out just before Obama Day (I mean Election Day).
I have begun work on a series of posters for Next New Networks. Details forthcoming as the project unfolds.
