That's So '90s

Just read that next year The Smashing Pumpkins plan to reissue remastered versions of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (1995), The Aeroplane Flies High (5 CD box set)(1996), and Adore (1998). I designed the packaging for these albums.

La Dolce Vita

La Dolce Vita was a limited edition Italian only release LP Duran Duran box set (1986). The box contained their first five albums on vinyl: Duran Duran, Rio, Seven and the Ragged Tiger, Arena, and Notorious. It also included a large poster of the Notorious cover. I created the design and Pan/angel character which was gold foil stamped on the box cover. The overall effect was like a large box of chocolates.

Some preliminary sketches and snapshots of the Smashing Pumpkins boxed set (1996). The concept (Billy Corgan's idea) was based on the boxes teenagers used to keep their 45 RPM singles in back in the 50s and 60s. The box set included 5 CDs and 44 page book.
