Jillian, thanks for the complimemnt. In case you are curious, the flat gray shadow areas were created using the ancient analog material from B.C. (before computers) known as Letrafilm. It was a translucent plastic film manufactuered by the folks that brought us Letraset. One cut out desired shapes with an X-acto knife, applied to the artwork and burnished.
